I think a journal a year would about do it, right? says I need moar (but who cares??), so I figured I'd just rant.

So I don't really consider myself an artist... I just draw for the fun of it, but when my art gets messed with

Senior year at high school right now (going well so far... lot of homework tho XP ), and I've been in Art class all four years. Pretty enjoyable in general, although the teacher can be a bit... insufferable at times.

So those of you out there who have ever taken an art class at school: how/where did you keep all your assignments? For us, we decorate a large sheet of paper and fold it in half, and tape up the sides to form a pocket of sorts, and that's our portfolio. My portfolio from Sophomore year wasn't that great... but it was pretty good, and it had some assignments in it I really, really liked.

And then it got stolen.
Since it was two years old, I thought it'd be fun to bring it back to school to show my friends... The day after I brought it, it disappeared from the cabinet all the other portfolios were kept in, and it's been gone ever since.

Ffffrack, the thing was 90% full of crap, why on earth would anyone else want to take it?? It was valuable to me cause of sentimental value and such, but, my gosh...

Saaaaaad now. It's been weeks, so I've given up hope of ever seeing it again.

Also, my art teacher sent off a card I made recently THAT I SPENT 3 WEEKS WORKING ON... after told her at least 4 TIMES... that I wanted to keep it, that it was inappropriate to the person she wanted to send it to, and since she said that yes we didn't have to send off our cards, I would very much like to keep mine... And then she said that she must have 'misunderstood us' (this also happened to 3 of my friends).



Ms. Teacher, I've been giving you the benefit of the doubt so far... After this "misunderstanding", though, for the safety of my art, I think I'm just going to assume your senility every time I speak to you.
